My name is Buffy, I’m an Edmonton-based Family Photographer who’s been taking photos of families, weddings and other fun stuff for 20 years.

I believe in a spontaneous, collaborative, play-based approach to family photography. No more super awkward posing, or perfect matchy-matchy outfits - let your kids personalities shine!I want your child to love the experience of being photographed - your photo session should feel like the most fun playdate ever!

I love and support LGBTQI2 families, and I’m continually educating myself on how to operate my business within an anti-racist, feminist framework.

I’m excited to capture the unique stuff that makes your family so special. And I love seeing your childrens’ personalities shine in your photos. My goal is to show you the beauty in the fleeting candid moments that happen in your everyday.

My photographic style takes its inspiration from documentary photography, photojournalism, and editorial portraiture. I take a few posed family portraits too, but I always make time to take a few photos of your family that are authentic, natural, and show how much fun you have together.
